In June
2003, the American
Apparel & Footwear Association announced the winners of their
first annual AAFA Excellence in Social Responsibility Award in
which A&E received the highest honors in the Preservation of the

Technical Information section contains links to pages such as
thread application and selection guides, technical bulletins and
flyers for minimizing sewing problems, thread size guides, thread
glossaries, and other textile technology resources.
Note:
We are in the
process of translating much of the Technical Information section into
both Spanish and Chinese. The translations will be made available as
.PDF files that can be opened with Acrobat
Reader, which is a common way to easily access and print
information from the Internet. (See the "Get Acrobat Reader" icon on
